About the Team
Supermileage Systems Enterprise (SSE) is a student run organization whose main objective is to design,
engineer and fabricate a one manned super high mileage vehicle built around a 3.5HP Briggs & Stratton,
4 stroke single cylinder engine, utilizing high-tech research fuel. The team's current goal is to evaluate and redesign system failures
to achieve our desired system goals of:
SSE is currently composed of 17 undergraduate students, a majority of whom are studying Mechanical Engineering.
The rest range from a variety of disciplines, including Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,
Chemical Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, and Software Engineering.
