Wireless access in M&M -- 6th and 7th floors

Our EECN support staff has recently made wireless connections available in the M&M building, including 614 M&M, and the 7th floor Enterprise offices and conference room in 724.

Enterprise team members who have Rovernet accounts may access the wireless service now, and EECN is providing accounts for all enrolled Enterprise team members in the near future.

Goals & Objectives: Professional Communication Arts Enterprise is Michigan Tech's Communication, Design, and Media Enterprise. Our long-term goals are to identify and to establish a professional partnership with a communication or design industry sponsor and to prepare student team members for internships, co-ops, careers, or scholarship in communication and design fields.

Our areas of expertise include writing, documentation, media development, organizational communication, and design research, theory, and production.

Robotics Enterprise Qualifies for National Competition

The FIRST Robotics Competition is an international competition that brings together experts and young people to solve an engineering design problem. In 2003 the competition will reach more than 20,000 students on over 800 teams in 24 competitions. The local team is one of a small minority that rely on college students, not professional engineers, to coach the high school participants. Read more via Tech Topics.

Pavement Design Team wins Wisconsin Asphalt Pavement Association (WAPA) Competition


The Pavement Design, Construction and Materials Enterprise entered the competition for a second time (2004) and once again won the state and national competition. All the students are different than the first year (2003).

This is quite an accomplishment: two for two!

3D printer (rapid prototyper)

A 3-D printer, also known as a rapid prototyper, is now available to Enterprise Teams and Team Members in 416 M&M. Contact EECN support to arrange a time in advance.
