Goals/Objectives: This new enterprise program at MTU is directed toward education, training and entrepreneurship in the areas of noise and vibrations for the industry. The emphasis is on learning modern concepts, experimental and numerical tools needed to solve practical problems from industries. Initial funding for the program has been obtained from Volvo Construction Equipment Korea to address various issues with noise and vibration from their excavators. The goal is to expand the program to include projects from other industries including automotive, appliance, machine tool and aerospace.
