BST consists of 3 teams: Wake Team, Snow Team, and Park Team. Each team operates as a separte entity and is responsible for its own management, operation, and productivity. The Wake Team primarily focuses on wake-related sports (wakeboarding, wakeskating, etc...), the Snow Team focuses on snow sports (snowboarding, skiing, etc...) and the Park Team creates terrain park features (boxes, rails, etc...) for ski hills.

The BST Enterprise has a unique set of resources that not many other businesses can boast about. BST has access to hundreds of faculty members at Michigan Tech that have experience in a multitude of different fields, which makes information easily accessible and often quite available. BST also has access to:

• A machine shop including welders, mills, lathes, a CNC mill, waterjet machinery, etc...
• A wood shop including band saws, a planer, sanders, a tablesaw, etc...
• Material testing laboratories with various universal testing machines (axial, shear, bending, etc...) and 3-axis configurable hydraulic structural testing systems
• Local suppliers for raw materials
• Many other items typically found at a large university

As expected, the BoardSport Technologies Enterprise is passionate about boardsports. Almost everyone in the enterprise hits the slopes or the water, and the excitement that is generated while riding translates directly to every project BST takes on. It is this excitement and energy that make BST an extremely successful enterprise at Michigan Tech, and there is no doubt that BST will be successful for many years to come.
