The BST Park Team at Michigan Technological University is responsible for creating new and innovative terrain park features that are lightweight, easy to set up and move, and provide the necessary strength and weather resistance inherent to a terrain park environment. Initially, the Park Team has constructed park features for Houghton’s Mont Ripley, but the team would like to expand to provide features for other ski areas as well. The Park Team focuses on keeping obstacles smooth and safe while utilizing engineering principles to minimize weight and maximize strength.
