Project Proposal
Green Space Michigan Nature Conversion Project
Our selected project is to convert a large area located on our school grounds into in a Michigan Nature area. The area will be designed to depict plant life native to our area, and to in corporate plant life that will attract native wildlife. In addition a walk way will be developed to allow for movement (if funding allows adding a water feature). Educational material will be designed to assist students from neighborhood school in the learning environment. It is the intention of the group to complete the project over the next four years.

Year 1
- to seek out strong members
- to select a team name
- to design our shirt
- to map out the entire area
- to learn more about Michigan plant life
- to determine the amount of asphalt to be removed, and the cost of removal
- to price and install a fence/gate to protect our area
- to produce a workable design
- to seek information from various professionals, including landscape, designers, concrete specialist, and master gardeners
