Project Description
We have had numerous meetings that involved research, design and delegating. Separate groups were formed to accommodate the different sectors of the ROV mechanics and technology. We formed groups for the different functions of the ROV: ballasting, operative control, power supply and distribution, and structural design. Utilizing our teacher-built ROV, we have been able to test a fully functional vehicle and have been able to determine what features we like and dislike, as well as gain incite on our design. We had a phone conference with the supervisor of the control group to discuss progress made and make suggestions regarding controlling device options.
