NVH stands for noise (unwanted sound), vibrations (mechanical oscillations), and harshness (severity or discomfort of a noise or vibration). The NVH Enterprise has been working on NVH projects from industry sponsors since 2005. The NVH Enterprise is directed toward education, training, and entrepreneurship in the areas of noise and vibrations. The emphasis is on learning modern concepts, experimental and numerical tools needed to solve real world problems from industry. The enterprise is made up of undergraduate students and is advised by Dr. Mohan Rao.
