 As the power consumption and demand increases worldwide, the need for alternative sources of energy increases as well. The use of renewable energy in day-to-day life is a small scale solution that can put a reasonable dent on energy usage from non-renewable sources. The Renewable Energy Micro team is designing a potential replacement for lighting on campus, using both Solar and Wind power to operate LED lighting.
