Wireless Power Control

The main objective for the Wireless Power Control team is to develop a proof-of-concept wireless control network that is cost effective and suited for a wide range of consumer electronics. This project is being sponsored by Fulton Innovation, a leading producer of wireless charge bases for appliances and mobile devices.  In the team's project, an embedded server will act as a database of controllable devices for a given network.  The ZigBee communication protocol will be used to exchange commands and necessary network information between nodes of the network, allowing the network to expand dynamically as new devices are added.  The project is in its fourth semester.
