About Copper Robotics

Copper Robotics is a team of high school students which participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition. With the aid of mentors (most of which are students from the nearby Michigan Technological University) the students build a robot to compete at events, mainly in Michigan. The students make use of the knowledge they have learned in the classroom and are encouraged to think creatively. Copper Robotics is in its third year of existence, and continues to expand as a team, with the vision of inspiring the youth of our nation to live up to their full potential, making the world a better place.

Michican Tech's Enterprise Program

The engineering degree programs at Michigan Technological University require students to have practical experience before graduation. Enterprise is an opportunity for students to get this experience. The FIRST Robotics Enterprise supports Copper Robotics by partially funding the team and supplying student engineers to serve as mentors and team leaders.
